uibox (the “Service”) is operated by Artifio OÜ, a company incorporated in Estonia (“we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use uibox at www.uibox.dev and app.uibox.dev, how we use it, and the choices you have. 1. Information We Collect

We collect:

  • Account information. Your name, email address, and (when you sign in with a third-party provider) your profile picture. You provide this directly or it is provided by the identity provider you choose to sign in with.
  • Content you create. Brands, email templates, and Markdown content you author or upload to the Service.
  • Usage data. Log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and interactions with the Service.

2. Sign in with Google

uibox offers “Sign in with Google” as one of several authentication methods. When you choose this option, we use Google OAuth and request only the following non-sensitive scopes:

  • openid — to authenticate you.
  • email — to receive your Google account email address.
  • profile — to receive your basic profile information (name and profile picture).

From Google, we receive and store:

  • Your Google account ID.
  • Your email address.
  • Your name.
  • Your profile picture URL.

We use this information solely to (a) create and authenticate your uibox account, (b) identify you when you sign in, and (c) display your name and avatar inside the application. We do not request any additional Google API scopes, do not access your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or any other Google product data, and do not use any Google user data for advertising. You can revoke uibox’s access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
  • Authenticate you and secure your account.
  • Communicate with you about your account and the Service.
  • Improve the Service and develop new features.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the service providers we need to operate uibox, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their function on our behalf:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: Railway and Cloudflare (application hosting, content delivery).
  • Authentication: Google, GitHub, and Discord (only if you choose to sign in with that provider).
  • Payments: Stripe processes subscription payments. We do not store or process card details ourselves.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to delete your account and associated data, email us at support@uibox.dev.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

uibox is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. The “Effective date” at the top of this page indicates when the latest version took effect.
